As an education and training centre for high-quality scientific and technological human resources of the Military and the cause of national industrialisation and modernisation, the Party Committee and Board of the Military Technology Academy have always paid great attention to leading and directing the task of education and training of revolutionary morality for cadres and party members to meet requirements and assigned tasks.

Imbued with the teachings of President Ho Chi Minh: "Revolutionary cadres must have revolutionary morality... The success or failure of work is mainly dependent on whether the cadres are imbued with revolutionary morality or not," over the past years, the Academy’s Party Committee and Board as well as the Party Committees and commanders of agencies, faculties, and units have focused on leading, directing, and seriously implementing guidelines and solutions to promote the synergy of all organisations and forces and improve the efficiency of revolutionary morality education for cadres and party members. As a result, the majority of cadres and party members have shown their firm political will and absolute loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people. They have also resolutely fought against manifestations of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation", followed a pure and healthy lifestyle, and acquired qualifications and working style to meet the task requirements. In the past five years (2016 - 2021), the Academy's Party Organisation has continuously achieved the standard of a pure and strong party organisation.

However, the work of revolutionary morality education for cadres and party members still has certain limitations; some contents have not kept pace with the requirements and criteria set forth for cadres and lecturers, the development of requirements, tasks and long-term development orientation of the Academy and the Military.

Currently, more demanding requirements have been imposed on the task of building the Party in general and the Military Party Organisation in particular, especially on morality and lifestyle of cadres and party members. According to the 13th National Party Congress Resolution, it is necessary to "accelerate the education of revolutionary morality to enable each cadre and party member to clearly understand their duties and responsibilities and always remain steadfast against difficulties, challenges, and material temptations.” Meanwhile, the 11th Congress of the Military Party Organisation of the 2020 - 2025 term has emphasised the importance of "preserving and promoting the moral qualities of the revolutionary military personnel and the noble title of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" in the new era.” Thoroughly grasping that spirit, the Academy’s Party Committee and Board have led and directed the synchronous implementation of moral education and training solutions for cadres and party members to meet the requirements, with a focus on the following.

First, strengthen the leadership and direction of Party organisations and commanders of agencies, faculties, and units over the work of revolutionary morality education. Applying different methods, Party organisations and leaders have enhanced revolutionary morality education and practice, while helping staff members in the Academy thoroughly grasp Ho Chi Minh's thought, the Party's viewpoints on the role and the necessity of educating and training revolutionary morality for cadres and party members. Uncle Ho ever said: “Only with physical strength, you can carry a heavy load and go a long way. Revolutionaries must have revolutionary morality as their foundation for fulfilling their glorious revolutionary task.” Therefore, Party committees and organisations have renewed and diversified forms of moral education and training for cadres and party members. Annually, the Academy requires 100% of party members to register for morality and lifestyle cultivation and practice. The Academy has also taken the results of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle and the implementation of the Resolution of the 12th Party Central Committee’s 4th Plenum as a yardstick for reviewing, evaluating, and classifying the level of mission accomplishment of party organisations as well as assessing and classifying the quality of cadres and party members. At the same time, priority has been given to successfully conducting inspections and organising conferences to draw lessons, reward and multiply good models and good practices, and make morality cultivation and practice of party members and cadres more effective.

Second, well organise action movements to educate and train the revolutionary morality of cadres and party members. Thoroughly and strictly implementing the Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW, dated May 18, 2021 by the 13th Politburo on continuing to execute the 12th Politburo’s Directive No. 05-CT/TW, party committees and organisations at all levels have continued to promote  the study and following of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and lifestyle in association with the Resolution of the 12th Party Central Committee’s 4th Plenum on the Party building and rectification, and the campaign of promoting tradition, dedicating talents, and deserving the title of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" in the new era. Due regard has been paid to promoting the Determined to Win emulation, campaigns and movements of all agencies and branches, especially the movements, namely “Each cadre and instructor is a shining example of morality and passion in study and work”, "substantive  learning and substantive examination", and “Saying no to improper  behaviour in exams and merit-driven disease in education.” At the same time, the Academy has also resolutely fought against the degradation in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle as well as the signs of "self-evolution" and "self-transformation", thereby making contribution to the successful implementation of resolutions of all-level Party congresses, creating a movement of practical action for cadres and party members to cultivate and practice revolutionary morality.

Third, promote the responsibility to set good examples of cadres and party members, especially leaders and commanders at all levels. According to President Ho Chi Minh: “Revolutionary morality does not fall down from the sky. It is developed and consolidated through persevering daily struggle and effort. Like jade, the more it is polished the more it shines. Like gold, it grows ever purer as it foes into the melting pot”. Thus, the Academy’s Party Committees and commanders at all levels have focused on leading and directing the strict implementation of the Regulation No. 101-QDi/TW, dated June 7, 2012 by the 11th Party Central Secretariat, the Regulation No. 08-QDi/TW, dated October 25, 2018 by the 12th Party Central Committee on the responsibility of setting good examples of cadres and party members, the Regulation No. 646-QD/QUTW, dated November 6, 2012 by the Central Military Commission Standing Board on “the responsibility to set good examples of party members, especially leaders, commanders and managers at all levels in the Military," and 5 standards of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" in the new period, etc. Consideration has been given to promoting the pioneering and exemplary role of leaders at all levels, matching words with action, and upholding industry, thrift, integrity, righteousness, justice and impartiality.

Fourth, build strong and pure Party committees, organisations, agencies, and units. There is a fact that the quality of cadres and party members is closely linked with the building of pure and strong Party organisations and comprehensively strong units. Accordingly, Party committees and organisations, especially at departments and cadet management units have grasped, concretised, and strictly implemented the 13th National Party Congress Resolution, the Resolution of the 11th Military Party Congress, and the Conclusion No. 38-KL/TW, dated November 13, 2018 by the 12th Politburo on improving leadership capacity and combat strength of grassroots party organisations and the quality of cadres and party members. Attention has been paid to building, adjusting, supplementing, and strictly implementing working regulations and leadership regulations, strictly observing the principles of democratic centralism, self-criticism, and criticism in Party organisations and activities, and perfectly performing the personnel work and the work of internal political protection. At the same time, importance has been attached to promoting the roles and responsibilities of mass organisations, strengthening the work of inspection and supervision on moral cultivation and practice of cadres and party members, raising the quality of admission of party members, regularly reviewing, screening and removing party members who are no longer eligible. Besides, great value has been attached to building comprehensively strong agencies, faculties, and units, strictly maintaining regulations and discipline practices, and forming a good and healthy teaching and learning culture environment, and turning the process of education and training into a process of self-education and self-training.

Building the Party in morality is an important task today. Therefore, each cadre and party member needs to uphold the sense of responsibility and devote more effort to improving their revolutionary morality as the basis for building a politically, ideologically, organisationally, and morally strong Party Organisation of the Military Technology Academy and an “exemplarily, typically” comprehensively Academy.
