Over the past 70 years of fighting, construction, and growth, Division 325 has achieved multiple outstanding feats to build up its tradition of “solidarity, resilience, speed, boldness, and determination-to-win”. Promoting such glorious tradition, the Division Party Committee and commanders have been implementing synchronous and drastic measures to improve the combat power to meet the requirements and tasks of protection of the Fatherland.
Implementing the Party's policy on forming key units, promptly meeting the requirements of concentrated combat in the peak period of the resistance war against the French invasion, on March 11th, 1951, Division 325 was established in association with the Thanh Huong - My Xuyen victory of Binh - Tri - Thien Front’s armed forces. Under any conditions and circumstances, the Division cadres and soldiers have always actively overcome difficulties and fought intellectually, bravely, steadfastly to win resounding victories that adorn the heroic history of the Vietnamese People’s Army. For its outstanding achievements in fighting, building, and protecting the Fatherland, the Division has been honored by the State with the title of Hero of the People's Armed Forces and other noble awards.

Practise changing combat readiness status |
In the coming time, in order to improve the overall quality and combat power to be capable of fulfilling the task of protecting the Fatherland in the new era, the Division cadres and soldiers will promote their tradition, and solidarity, activeness, and creativeness in comprehensively implementing all aspects of work, especially the following main contents.
First of all, the Division will focuses on building its political strength to serve as a basis for enhancing combat power. The subordinate agencies and units will continue to thoroughly perform political and ideological education to deepen the fundamental issues of Marxism-Leninism theory, Ho Chi Minh thought, the Party's military and defence views, conspiracies and tricks of the hostile forces, and traditions, characteristics, and tasks of the Army, the Corps, and the Division and built up the cadres and soldiers’ steadfast political stuff to proactively overcome difficulties and fulfill all assigned tasks. The contents, forms, and methods of education will be renovated towards practice and effectiveness to suit the perception of each object in association with implementing the schemes, including “Renovating the political education work at grassroots units in the new period” and “The Army prevents and fights against peaceful evolution in the cultural and ideological fields”. The political education will be combined with legal and discipline education, management, and forecasting and orientation of the soldiers’ thoughts. At the same time, the Party building work will be promoted towards regularly consolidating and improving the quality and efficiency of the activities of the Party Committees and Party organisations at all levels and associating the building of the Party Committees with the building of the contingent of leading cadres at all levels with sufficient quantity, reasonable structure, political qualities, and professional qualifications to meet the requirements and tasks. The Division will closely combine education, training, and management of party members with strengthening inspection and supervision to build clean and strong Party organisations with sufficient leadership capacity and high combat power in association with implementing the 4th Central Resolution (the 12th Tenure) on Party building and rectification and Directive No.05-CT/TW on promoting learning and following of Ho Chi Minh thoughts, ethics, and style. The role of the Force 47 will be built and promoted in fighting against wrong and hostile views to create a healthy political environment within the Division. In addition, the subordinate agencies and units will focus on consolidating, strengthening, and improving the performance of mass organisations and Soldier Council, strictly implementing the Grassroots Democracy Regulation, stepping up the implementation of the Determination-to-Win Emulation movement in association with the Drive entitled “Promoting traditions, dedicating talents, deserving “Uncle Ho's Soldiers” in the new period, doing well the work of mass mobilisation, policies, and internal political protection, and building comprehensively strong, “exemplary and typical” agencies and units to fulfill the assigned tasks.
Secondly, breakthroughs will be made in innovating and improving the training quality and combat readiness level to meet the requirements of modern warfare. To fulfill the assigned tasks, the Division will continue thoroughly grasping and strictly implementing resolutions, directives, and orders on training and combat readiness, particularly Conclusion No.60-KL/QUTW issued on January 18th, 2019 by the Central Military Commission on continuing the implementation of Resolution No.765-NQ/QUTW, Resolution No.253-NQ/ĐU issued on June 13th, 2013 by the Corps Party Committee on improving the training quality, and the Corps Commander’s military and defence orders to create a comprehensive and firm breakthrough in training. It will do well in preparation for training, particularly training and fostering to improve comprehensive qualifications and capabilities of cadres who directly participate in the training. Attention will be paid to assuring the adequacy and quality of lesson plans, materials, and training grounds. The training work will be organised under the motto of “Basic, practice, and solidity” with importance being attached to comprehensive and specialised training to suit the tasks, local characteristics, and modern war conditions. The training and drill contents, forms and methods will be renewed with close combinations of military training to political education, technical training to tactical training, and training to transfer of combat experience, discipline training, regular observance, and safe unit building. Initiative will be taken in building and completing the preparation and organisation of drills of all scales and forms to ensure strictness and safety, improve the overall quality, combat power, and get ready to maneuver and handle all situations.
Thirdly, the Division will strengthen discipline training and regularity building to contribute to raising its combat power. Being imbued that “Discipline is the Army’s strength”, the Division will strengthen measures for educating, grasping, and managing soldiers’ thoughts and disciplines. It will focus on making the soldiers firmly grasp and apply creatively and effectively the contents of legal provisions, the Solider Management Ordinance, and new directives and documents on discipline observance and safety assurance in the Army and the Corps, including Directive No.103/CT-BQP issued on November 28th, 2019 by the Ministry of National Defence and Decision No.122/QĐ-BTL issued on January 24th, 2019 by the Corps Commander. Education will be enhanced to raise the sense of law observance and compliance with military discipline, unit regimes and regulations, and superiors’ orders and directives and must be organised in a quick, accurate, synchronous, and comprehensive manner to create solidarity and unity in the whole unit. The Division will also thoroughly grasp and fully and effectively implement the criteria for building a comprehensively strong, “exemplary and typical” unit, improve qualifications, skills, and self-discipline for regular practice and training, strictly maintain the daily and weekly regimes and rules, and strengthen measures for education, discipline management, leadership, and ideological orientation to make drastic changes in awareness, sense of responsibility of cadres and soldiers in discipline observance and building of solid and stable agencies and units with violation rate lower than 0.3%.
Finally, importance will be attached to logistics and technical supply. The logistics agency will proactively coordinate with other units in developing the logistics documents, and supplying sufficient amount of logistics material reserves for combat readiness and other regular and irregular tasks, particularly training, drills, and combat readiness. The soldiers’ health will be taken care to ensure over 99.5% of the soldiers participating in training and working. Measures for pandemic prevention and control will be strengthened to resolutely prevent the Covid-19 from infiltrating into the unit. The Division will also step up the consolidation and building of “bright, green, clean, and scenic” barracks and actively conduct agro-production to build good kitchens and well manage military supplies in association with the Emulation movement entitled “The Army Logistics follows Uncle Ho’s teachings”. Along with that, agencies and units will implement synchronously several measures to manage, exploit, and use weapons and technical equipment as specified in Conclusion No.763-KL/QUTW issued on December 19th, 2012 of the Central Military Commission, focus on ensuring adequate, timely, synchronous weapons, technical equipment, and ammunition of all kinds for training, combat readiness and unexpected tasks, organise the reception, distribution, transfer, and accumulation of weapons and technical equipment as prescribed to ensure safety, and strictly maintain the regime of preservation, maintenance, repair, sealing, inspection, inventory, and testing to raise the technical coefficients of weapons and equipment and meet requirements and tasks.
The good implementation of the above solutions will practically contribute to improving the combat power and fulfilling all assigned tasks to be worthy of the glorious tradition of the heroic Binh Tri Thien Division.
