Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style is a great, long-term, meaningful and important movement in building and training cadres, party members and organisations at all levels. Therefore, the thorough grasping and efficient implementation of this content according to the Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW, dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo (13^th tenure), has been being promoted by all agencies and units, including the Air Defence - Air Force Academy with synchronous, creative and appropriate solutions. Thereby, creating the motivation to build up the "revolutionary, regular, standardised, modern" Academy, worthy of being a key school in the Army.             

Over the years, as one of the top educational and training institutions of the Army, the Air Defence - Air Force Academy has strengthened solidarity, unification, promoted collective intelligence, deployed all aspects of work comprehensively along with synchronous and suitable solutions, successfully completed all assigned tasks. Among them, the promotion of the studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style according to Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW is identified by the Party Committee and Board of Directors as the most important solution to create the basis, foundation and motivation for organisations and all cadres, party members and masses to strive to rise up. With the motto: "inside first, outside after", "seniors first, juniors after", the Academy has thoroughly grasped and implemented the Conclusion in a strict and consistent manner at all levels and organisations. The propaganda and study of subjects and works on Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style has been carried out seriously and with quality, with various forms and creative methods, such as: put into regular activities of all levels of Party committees, cell branches and mass organisations; research, integrate, and incorporate into political education curricula as well as the teaching of social sciences and humanities to students, etc. Party committees, party organisations, commanders and mass organisations at each level regularly review and promptly supplement criteria on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style, in accordance with practice and the implementation of the Resolution of the 4th Central Committee (12^th tenure, 13^th tenure) on building and rectifying the Party and political system; The campaign of Promoting tradition, dedicating talents, deserving the title of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" in the new period. At the same time, directing and guiding cadres, party members and the masses to register to strive to study and follow Uncle Ho and the standard criteria of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers " by specific and practical actions which are close to their responsibilities and missions. Through studying and following Uncle Ho, the Academy's cadres, lecturers, students, staff and soldiers always have strong will, actively cultivate and nurture morality and lifestyle, raise the sense of strict discipline; the pioneering and exemplary character of cadres and party members has been increasingly enhanced, especially while facing new, difficult and complicated tasks that require strong determination. A lot of new and creative models as well as ways of doing things have been built, replicated and promoted effectively, such as: "Innovation, creativity, application of science and technology in teaching and training", "Learning" for integration", "Dedication and industriousness in scientific research", "Club of young lecturers with active teaching methods", "Every comrade and teammate is a teacher", " One initiative a day”, and so on. Thereby, directly contributing to improving the quality of education and training of the Academy, ready to take and successfully complete all assigned tasks, build a righteous, strong and typical Party Committee, along with a comprehensively strong, "exemplary, typical" Academy.

Currently, the task of building the Air Defence - Air Force Service advancing straight to modernity and the task of being ready to fight, control and firmly safeguard the sky of the Fatherland in the new situation poses requirements for the Academy to well perform the role of an education and training institution, providing high-quality human resources, contributing to building a contingent of cadres with strong will, good moral qualities, comprehensive qualifications, scientific and effective leadership style. Sticking to the motto: "The quality of the institution's training is the combat readiness capability of the unit", the Academy continues to lead and direct the promotion of implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW with the main contents as follows:

Firstly, continue to promote the propaganda, education and awareness of cadres, party members and the masses about Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style. This is the most important issue while carrying out the implementation of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW since only through the appropriate perception of the nature as well as the valuable, righteous and core values in Uncle Ho’s thought, morality and style can create the unity of awareness and actions in practice. Therefore, the Party Committee and Board of Directors of the Academy have requested the Party committees and commanders at all levels to continue promoting education and propaganda to raise awareness for cadres, party members and the masses about this important content; thereby arousing the desire to dedicate and promote the qualities of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers - elite Air Defence - Air Force Soldiers" to successfully carry out all assigned tasks. In the process of implementation, agencies, faculties and units attach great importance to propaganda and education to raise awareness and well perform the "self-examination and self-correction" of cadres, and party members; resolutely fight against the manifestations of degradation in political thought, morality, lifestyle, individualism, "self-evolution", "self-transformation" internally. In order to be effective, the Party Committee and Board of Directors directed the relevant agencies to coordinate with specialised faculties to continue researching, applying, updating and supplementing the content of learning and following Uncle Ho into the curriculum to teach the subjects, ensuring that it is consistent with the training objectives and requirements of the Academy. At the same time, actively renew propaganda and education with various practical and effective forms and measures, such as: closely combining regular education with education of themes and subjects; through forums, seminars, contests and activities of organisations; through the internal radio system, the Academy's Website and cultural institutions at the grassroots; promptly criticise and correct misconceptions, deviations, formal diseases, etc. Thereby, creating a breakthrough in awareness, thought and actions; affirming the responsibility and determination of each organisation and each individual, especially the presiding cadres and heads of all levels, to make the studying and following Uncle Ho really come into life, becoming a voluntary and regular work of each cadre, party member and the masses.

Secondly, closely combine the implementation of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW with Party building and rectification, together with emulation movements and campaigns. The Party Committee of the Academy leads and directs all levels of party committees and organisations to review, concretise and supplement contents and methods of studying and following Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality and style into the program and plan to fulfil the political tasks of each unit according to the resolution of the party congress at the grassroots level and the Resolution of the Party Congress of the Academy for the 2020 – 2025 tenure. At the same time, combine with the implementation of conclusions, regulations on Party building and rectification, focusing on: Conclusion No. 21-KL/TW, dated October 25, 2021 of the Party Central Committee (13^th tenure) on promoting Party building, rectification and the political system, resolutely prevent, repel, and strictly handle cadres and party members who have degraded in political thought, morality, lifestyle, manifesting "self-evolution", "self-transformation"; Resolution No. 847-NQ/QUTW, dated December 28, 2021 of the Central Military Commission on promoting the qualities of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers", resolutely fighting individualism in the new situation; The movement to emulate the determination to win and the movement of all levels and branches, especially the Campaign to promote tradition, dedicate talents, deserve the title of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers" in the new period, forming a deep and wide revolutionary action movement to successfully carry out the tasks of education, training, scientific research, regular building, management, discipline training, military physical training, etc. On that basis, each cadre, party member and the masses registered to commit to cultivating, training, and striving closely to their respective duties and responsibilities. Every year, the result of studying and following Uncle Ho is a criterion for emulation; commenting, evaluating and ranking cadres, party members, union members and organisations; building typically righteous, strong party committees and cells as well as comprehensively strong "exemplary, typical" units, excellent mass organisations.

Thirdly, successfully perform the responsibility of setting example, especially the leaders at all levels in studying and following Uncle Ho. Setting example of "Talk the talk, walk the walk" is both a requirement and a goal in studying and following Uncle Ho to train “both red and expert” cadres, meeting the requirements of building the Air Defence - Air Force Service advancing straight to modernity. Imbued with President Ho Chi Minh's teaching: "a living example is better than a hundred propaganda speeches", the Party Committee, the Academy's Board of Directors requested that each cadre, party member, union member must fulfil the responsibility of setting example in studying and following Uncle Ho, promoting the qualities of "Uncle Ho's Soldiers", in association with implementing the Party's regulations on the responsibility to set example. Moreover, cadres and party members, especially presiding leaders and heads of all levels, must uphold the role of vanguard and model to affirm the leadership role, according to the motto: "seniors set good examples, juniors follow actively”, the higher the cadres held, the more pioneering, exemplary and leading in implementation. The exemplary content must be directed at demonstrating the qualifications of being steadfast; dare to think, dare to do, dare to take responsibility, dare to speak out, dare to make creative breakthroughs, dare to face difficulties and challenges in performing tasks. In addition, they must have a scientific, democratic and practical leadership style; be the nuclei of unity in the unit who gather, inspire and promote collective intelligence; always uphold the principle of democratic centralism, objectivity, comprehensiveness and fairness; seriously self-criticise and criticise, actively support positive actions and protest against negative actions. The Party Committee of the Academy directs party committees and organisations at all levels to maintain unanimous, strict regulations and activities; proactively forecast, grasp the situation, effectively and promptly handle ideological problems arising in agencies, faculty, teachers and units.

Besides, Party committees and organisations at all levels have strengthened inspection and supervision in the implementation of Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW; periodically conduct preliminary and final evaluations; promptly praise and reward collectives and individuals with good achievements, new models, creative and effective solutions. Hence, making the studying and following of Uncle Ho become self-conscious, regular, self-sufficient needs of organisations and individuals; since then, actively cultivate, train themselves, overcome difficulties, emulate and fulfil the tasks of education, training, and scientific research, contributing to embellishing the tradition: "Unity, heroism, self-reliance for self-improvement, initiative and creativity, overcoming difficulties, teaching hard, studying well, resolutely completing tasks" of the Heroic Air Defence - Air Force Academy in the new period.
