During the General Offensive and Uprising in Spring 1975, with the combined strength of the people’s war and a spirit of initiative and creativity, from 26 April 1975, most provinces in the Mekong Delta simultaneously launched offensives and uprisings against the enemy across all fronts, completely liberating their localities on 30 April 30 and 1 May 1975.
