In Vietnam, freedom of speech and freedom of the press are constitutionally guaranteed rights and are further institutionalised through an increasingly comprehensive legal system. Article 25 of the 2013 Constitution affirms that: “Citizens shall enjoy the right to freedom of speech, freedom of the press, access to information, assembly, association, and demonstration. The exercise of these rights is prescribed by law”

Distorting and denying Ho Chi Minh’s ideology and ethics have always been at the forefront of the hostile forces’ sabotage strategy. To that end, they have employed various methods and approaches, with literature and arts serving as a malicious artifice. Hence, combating the hostile forces’ sabotage strategy in the literary field is a both urgent and long-term matter

VPA promotes core role in the "500-Day Campaign to accelerate the search, recovery, and identification of martyrs’ remains"
To accomplish the Campaign’s assigned tasks, objectives, and targets, ministries, sectors, local authorities, and particularly military agencies and units serving as the core force, must continue to coordinate closely in implementing comprehensive and synchronised measures. This requires mobilising all available resources and harnessing the combined strength of the entire political system and society to successfully fulfil this exceptionally important mission of profound national gratitude.
