In the past 80 years of construction, combat, victory, and maturity, under the leadership and direction of the Party Central Committee and President Ho Chi Minh, particularly the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defence, the General Staff has always excellently fulfilled its role as a strategic, confidential, key staff organ of the Vietnam People’s Army, making a worthy contribution to the cause of national liberation, construction, and protection

VPA promotes core role in the “500-Day Campaign to accelerate the search, recovery, and identification of martyrs’ remains”

To accomplish the Campaign’s assigned tasks, objectives, and targets, ministries, sectors, local authorities, and particularly military agencies and units serving as the core force, must continue to coordinate closely in implementing comprehensive and synchronised measures. This requires mobilising all available resources and harnessing the combined strength of the entire political system and society to successfully fulfil this exceptionally important mission of profound national gratitude.
