To answer the question of the relevance of the building of the all-people national defence in modern wars, we should look at recent wars in Yugoslavia, Syria, Libya, and Iraq which have proved that when a government manages to utilise its country’s comprehensive strength together with unity between the military and the people, that country will be firmly protected. On the contrary, being unable to earn support from their citizens, governments and militaries will rapidly suffer defeats.
