Over the past few years, apart from well performing its advisory function for the Party and State as well as directing ethnic minority work, the Commission for Ethnic Minority Affairs, which is a ministerial-level agency under the management of the Prime Minister, has attached importance to leading, directing, and implementing defence, military work effectively, contributing to safeguarding the Fatherland in the new situation
