In 2019, the Military’s logistics work continued to achieve positive results and provided timely logistics support for the routine and irregular missions. Those outcomes have laid an important foundation for the entire Military to keep accelerating a reform and creating a comprehensive, solid transformation in its logistics work to meet the requirements for the military-defence tasks

In late December, 1972, the Air Defence – Air Force along with Northern armed forces and people launched the Air Defence Campaign intended to defeat the U.S. strategic airborne raid, which was mostly carried out by B-52 strategic bombers, on Hanoi, Hai Phong and their adjacent provinces, recording a landslide victory - “Hanoi – Dien Bien Phu in the air”. The victory of the campaign resulted from the combination of factors, including great contribution of logistics assurance

VPA promotes core role in the "500-Day Campaign to accelerate the search, recovery, and identification of martyrs’ remains"
To accomplish the Campaign’s assigned tasks, objectives, and targets, ministries, sectors, local authorities, and particularly military agencies and units serving as the core force, must continue to coordinate closely in implementing comprehensive and synchronised measures. This requires mobilising all available resources and harnessing the combined strength of the entire political system and society to successfully fulfil this exceptionally important mission of profound national gratitude.
