45 years ago, in late December, 1972, under the leadership of the Party, northern armed forces and people, with Air Defence-Air Force Service as the core, launched the Air Defence Campaign to defeat the American B52 strategic air strike on Hanoi, Hai Phong, and some other northern provinces.
