According to international experts, the on-going conflict in Sudan is most probably a portent of a new civil war. If measures to de-escalate the conflict are not found, it is likely to become a multi-level game for regional and international player to pursue their own interests. Weapon systems and money will be mobilised and provided for warring factions. Foreign militaries or proxy forces will be part of the war.
