The 4th wave of COVID-19 has profoundly impacted on Vietnam and especially Ho Chi Minh City - a socio-economic and transport centre of the South and the whole country. Under the spirit of “fighting the pandemic like fighting enemies,” the municipal armed forces have promoted their vanguard, core role in the fight against COVID-19, which has been acknowledged and highly appreciated by local party committees, authorities, and citizens

VPA promotes core role in the “500-Day Campaign to accelerate the search, recovery, and identification of martyrs’ remains”

To accomplish the Campaign’s assigned tasks, objectives, and targets, ministries, sectors, local authorities, and particularly military agencies and units serving as the core force, must continue to coordinate closely in implementing comprehensive and synchronised measures. This requires mobilising all available resources and harnessing the combined strength of the entire political system and society to successfully fulfil this exceptionally important mission of profound national gratitude.
