 To meet the requirements of Fatherland protection after the country had been reunified, the Division 306 (Army Corps 2) (hereafter the Division) was established on November 15th, 1978. Being founded after the country had just undergone the war with an array of difficulties, the Division quickly stabilized its organisational structure and improved the quality of training and combat readiness
