In order to defeat the enemy’s “search and destroy” operation and especially drag the U.S. expeditionary force up to the battlefield of Central Highlands as the basis for our offensive in the Spring of 1968, the Central Highlands Front Command decided to launch the Dak To Campaign. The victory of this operation marked an outstanding development in our warfare against rescue enemy troops

VPA promotes core role in the "500-Day Campaign to accelerate the search, recovery, and identification of martyrs’ remains"
To accomplish the Campaign’s assigned tasks, objectives, and targets, ministries, sectors, local authorities, and particularly military agencies and units serving as the core force, must continue to coordinate closely in implementing comprehensive and synchronised measures. This requires mobilising all available resources and harnessing the combined strength of the entire political system and society to successfully fulfil this exceptionally important mission of profound national gratitude.
