Vietnam fiercely opposes Khmer Krom extremists’ illegal acts

Vietnam strongly protests against Khmer Kampuchea Krom extremists for conducting an illegal demonstration and burning Vietnamese national flag in Phnom Penh on August 12, said Foreign Ministry spokesman Le Hai Binh on August 13.
Binh said these actions intentiohnally hurt the feelings of Vietnamese people, and go contrary to the fine tradition of neighbourly friendship between Vietnam and Cambodia.
“We request Cambodia to strictly deal with the case in line with law and adopt effective preventive measures so as to avoid any repeated action," Binh said.
